Playing Pai Gow Poker
Play Pai Gow Poker at the above USA real money online casinos above. When you play Pai Gow Poker you are playing against the dealer, not other players. Pai Gow is played with a standard 52 card deck with 1 joker which is called the “bug”.
To start playing you place your bet which is for two hands, one bet for the 2 Card Hand and one bet for the 5 Card Hand. The dealer then deals each player and himself 7 cards in rotation like a normal poker game. The player and dealer then make the best two poker hands out of the 7 cards, one 5 Card Hand and one 2 Card Hand.

Both hands can have pairs or simply have a top card. The Joker (bug) can be used in the 5 card hand to complete a straight or flush. In the 2 Card hand the Joker is always used as an Ace. Remember the Joker is an Ace when determining your hands so the 5 card hand always ranks higher.
After you choose your hands, the dealer turns his cards over and the bets are either paid or collected. If the Dealer and Player tie a hand the Dealer wins. This is where the online casino has an advantage and makes their money.
